Enormous Brown Bullhead Fishing – Manitoba Master Angler Minute

These scrappy catfish aren’t as highly revered as their channel cat cousins, but they are still fun to target with light tackle. Active throughout the open water season, bullhead can be caught in many bodies of water in the province. Fish reaching Master Angler proportions are plentiful in places such as the northern most stretches of the Red River, many sections of the Assiniboine River, and the mouth of the Whitemud River at Lake Manitoba.

This last place is where you will find Aaron Wiebe in this episode of Manitoba Master Angler Minute. Watch as he shares some tactics for where, when, and how to hook into some sumo-sized Brown Bullhead.
