Evening Walleye Bite on Lake Manitoba - Fish Addictions TV
The sun setting past the horizon has been the backdrop of countless storied evenings of walleye fishing.

It is general knowledge in the angling world that the magical few hours at dusk is more often than not the most intense walleye bite of the day. This is especially true along the shores of Lake Manitoba in the Interlake Region. Every evening hordes of ravenous marble eyes invade the lake's shallows looking for an easy meal.

On this latest episode of Fish Addictions TV, the crew spent a few days exploring the massive lake based out of the accommodations at MTT Diner in St. Laurent. While they were able to track down a few of the lake's chunky walleye being mobile during the day, hunkering down in prime spots each evening resulted in a pile of 'prairie gold' topside. Aggressively jigging louder lures in water as shallow as five to eight feet under the ice was the ticket on this trip.
