November is a popluar month when it comes to hunting in Manitoba. The general (rifle) season for our most pursued big game animal, the whitetail deer, begins on November 9th, 2015 across the province. Late season moose and elk also begin on November 30, 2015 for Manitoba residents. With warm weather in the forecast, migratory game bird opportunities are also extended with some excellent waterfowling still to be had across our southern regions. And lets not forget about our admired upland game birds. Ruffies, spruce and sharptail grouse offer great opportunities during the late season and often extend favourable wingshooting options when hunting whitetails.
