Encompassing a unique section of the province, this region holds fantastic angling waters from the south end of Lake Manitoba all the way down to the southern stretches of the mighty Red River. Inland oceans surround this region in the centre of the province. Bordered by Lake Winnipeg to the east and Lakes Winnipegosis and Manitoba to the west, excellent year round, drive-to fishing is literally all around you in the Interlake. North of the 53rd parallel is the vast top half of the province. Untamed wilderness with countless lakes and rivers define this sprawling landscape. Beautiful Porcupine Provincial Forest, Duck Mountain Provincial Park, and Riding Mountain National Park are located within this region.
